MY STORY

Denise Venice, a native New Yorker, is the founder, owner and creative vision behind Scattered Gems. Her global travel and fashion knowledge come from an extensive career in the New York fashion industry. While serving in an Executive level position for more than 25 years, Denise was responsible for leading design teams and creating fashion and home accessory lines for many top brands to include Henri Bendel, Coach, Juicy Couture, and Betsy Johnson among others.  This experience sparked her vision in the creation of Scattered Gems Jewelry. With decades of experience traveling throughout Europe and Asia, Denise remains current on new trends in fashion and other areas.  When it comes to her personal style, she loves to color outside the lines:  creating bespoke handcrafted items as well as re-purposing existing objects and materials. Creating is Denise’s passion, she is continuously influenced by her world-wide travels and inspired by color, texture and mixed media. As a “professional creative” she has combined her expertise in jewelry design and style to create a brand that reflects timeless designs with a minimalist aesthetic.  Welcome to our creative journey, we hope you will indulge, in my creations.
